I have been working in client server and Internet development using Visual C++,
Visual Basic, Visual InterDev, MFC, ATL, STL, ISAPI, ASP, HTML, DHTML, XML, WININET, WIN32, VBSCRIPT, JAVASCRIPT, Crystal Reports, MSMQ, MTS, COM+ Services, COM, DCOM, ADO, ODBC, SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, DB2 and Access for the past eight years. I developed a Document Imaging and Information Management System while working for Microsystems Technology in Tampa, Florida. This is a commercial software product that includes an IIS/ISAPI Web Server, Internet/Client Server ActiveX/COM API for application development and a traditional Client Server System driven by a middle tier C++ object oriented class library. The features include multithreaded design, data views, local and distributed queries and updating using an dynamic SQL engine, document viewing and scanning, OCR, annotations, email, indexing, retrieval, document and data linking. As a personal project I developed an ActiveX 2D Tab Container Control for either Visual Basic or Visual C++ application development and was sold to a software company.
Other work experience includes six plus years of light database administration and design on multiple DBM Systems (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase and DB2) including working one year as a Junior Sybase DBA
while working for Computer Language Research/FASTTAX in Dallas Texas. I started with 2 years programming on mini computer systems then moved to IBM Mainframe for about 4 years working on financial applications using CICS, COBOL, IMS/DL1, DB2, VSAM, and JCL. Have about seven years plus each in Visual C++, Visual Basic, COBOL and research and development experience with .NET Technolgies.
